SBI is the biggest public sector bank in india. SBI has invited online application for filling up the 1500 post of PO. Online Registration for the exam was from 30 Jan 2013 and got finished on 28th Feb 2013. Candidates need to keep visiting the SBI website for any updates. Exam date of SBI PO 2013 is 28 Apr 2013.
For downloading the Admit Card/ Hall Ticket, please refer the below link:


Please fill the below mentioned details for downloading the admit card:

-          Application / Registration / Form No
-          Date of Birth details
-          E-Mail Id

After filling the above mentioned details, you need to submit the request to downloading the admit card.
Here you will get your admit card downloaded now. Please take a print out of the admit card downloaded & carry that along with the id card in the exam hall.

Once the results of the written exam gets over, candidates will be called in the 1:3 ratio for the group discussion & interview in the second stage of selection process. Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Written as well GD & Interview score.

SBI Bank PO 2013 Examination will be completed in two stages. Important Tips to qualify in SBI PO Exam 2013:

1) Try to figure out the whole syallabus for the exam point of view. List out it in section wise & make plan to divide time dedicated to each section daily.

SBI PO 2013 Exam Pattern


SBI PO 2013 Exam Pattern, SBI PO Selection Details

SBI PO Selection will be done through two stages. First stage will have written exam to check the candidate ability & second stage to check the candidate’s personality traits. Here are the details of the exam pattern of SBI PO 2013.

(a) Stage 1: Written exam : Will have two papers to crack.

Paper I:(Objective test) - 200 marks total (Consists of 4 section)

Sections are as mentioned below:

                       I.            English Language ( consists of Grammar, Vocabulary, Comprehension)
                      II.            Test of General Awareness & Computers
                     III.            Reasoning test
                     IV.           Test of Data Analysis & Interpretation 

Total No of Questions are 200.There will be 50 questions in each of 4 section mentioned above. Negative marking will be 25%, which means that for each correct answer 1 marks will be given & for each wrong answer .25 marks will be deducted.

Paper II (Descriptive Test) - 50 marks (Consists of 4 sections only)

                     I.            Letter Writing skills
                    II.            Essay Writing technique
                   III.           Paragraph Writing test
                   IV.          Short Precis Writing test

The Descriptive Test will be of1 hour duration. The candidates are required to get qualify marks ONLY in the Descriptive typeTest by securing passing/Qualifying marks,. Passing marks will be decided by the overall performance of all candidates in the exam. Final decision from the SBI will be binding.

(b) Stage 2 - Group Discussion and Interview

 Max Marks for the GD is 20 & for the Interview is 30.

Call for second stage will be based on the total marks obtained in the objective and descriptive test. Total written exam marks will be arranged in descending order & candidate who have qualified in both sections of written tests will be called for next stage in group discussion and interview. For GD & Interview, almost 3 times of the posts, candidates will be called.

 SBI has issued notification for filling up 1500 Posts of Probationary Officers in different branches of SBI. Eligible candidates may need to apply online from 30-01-2013 to 23-02-2013 through the website of SBI. Here are the details of the SBI PO Recruitment 2013.

SBI Vacancy Details:
Post Name: Probationary Officers
Total no of vacancies: 1500 Posts

Application fee: Application fee for Gen/OBC is Rs 200/- & Rs 50/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
Payment Mode:  
Offline:  cash voucher at any branch of State Bank of India in offline mode. The Online:  debit card/ credit card/ Internet Banking can be used for online payment.

Age limit: Candidate’s age should not be below 21 years and not more than 30 years as on 01-01-2013. Age relaxation are applicable as per standard government rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in written examination, Group Discussion & Interview combined.

How to Apply: Candidates can apply through online through www.sbi.co.in.  Candidates need to have valid email id for applying. After completing the online form, candidate needs to click on the submit button. Candidates need to take prin out of the form generated & send it to the address given in the print out.

·         Candidates should have download the cash voucher from SBI website or ready with the details of the online payment, like credit card details/ internet banking details.
·         Candidates must be ready with the scan copy of their photograph and signature before applying online for the post.
